Amber Iman Moorer, better known as “Amber Iman”, is a Broadway actress and singer. Amber made her Broadway debut as the High Priestess of Soul, Nina Simone, in “Soul Doctor”, earning rave reviews and a nomination for the prestigious Clive Barnes Award. Marking her first national tour, Amber played Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds for a year with the 11-time Tony Award winning smash hit "HAMILTON". Most recently, she played Cheryl in the star-studded, limited run of “Little Shop of Horror”s at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington, DC. Amber is a proud founding member of the Broadway Advocacy Coalition.
Amber Iman graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Music Theatre at Howard University in Washington, D.C., and is a Spring 2006 initiate of the Delta Nu chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota.
